Let’s talk aging. It’s a topic that seems to get either swept under the rug or avoided. But it’s a stage of dog ownership that can be just as challenging as the puppy years. Give yourself and your pup patience and grace as you navigate changes in mobility, diet sensitivity, and unexpected illnesses. It can often take trail and error to learn what foods your dog can now handle, what supplements they now need, or finding specialized support. Like puppies you may have some tough nights with senior dogs, go through a lot of cleaning product, and simply struggle to watch their activity level decline. But they know your love for them has never changed, and that’s all that matters. To all the owners with aging doggos, you’re doing great. Keep your head up.
